Welcome to Defensive Driving. This course is not about teaching you to drive; SMART knows you can drive! This course asks, instead, "could I be a better, more defensive driver?" Please be completely honest with yourself when evaluating your current driving performance; you may find there are improvements you can make; including speed, distractions and laws. It is imperative to drive defensively, especially since your job is driving. It is SMART's expectation that you will know better AND do better as you navigate our 6-8 ton vehicles through the highly populated areas we service. The safety of the roadway community is everyone's responsibility and you will be expected to maintain that safety at all times. Drive SMART! |
