Orientation
home

Welcome! Thank you for utilizing the Safety Serve computer based training system. Please take a few minutes to orient yourself with the site.

New Student
If you have been given an Access Code (or Serial Number) and have not registered yet, click on the New Student button to register and create your own Login ID and Password. Only use the Access Code to register one time.

Returning Student
If you have already created your own Login ID and Password, click on Returning Student. Enter your Login ID and Password to access your courseware. If you have forgotten your Login ID or Password, click on Returning Student, and then click on Forgot Your ID or Password and that information will be emailed to you.

After logging in, the first screen you will see is the “My Courses” page. The links on the far left side of the screen will help you navigate around the site. The “My Courses” link will always bring you back to this page.

To start a course, click on the title of the course. Some of the various training materials have Pre-Tests and Post-Tests. For you to complete a course, you must view the entire course and pass the Post-Test. Some courses offer Certificates of Completion. The National Safety Council’s Defensive Driving Course allows you to receive an official certificate (upon successful completion of the course) that, in many states, may be used to lower your insurance premium.

By clicking on the “Progress” link, on the left navigation bar, you will see your scores for the Pre-Exam, Post-Exam, and Usage. The Usage percentage indicates what percentage of the course has been viewed.

From the “Update Account” link, you can alter your personal data. At the bottom of this page is an option to enter additional access code. Your company may provide you with an additional Access Code to add additional courses or extend the expiration of your courses

You should click on the “Logout” link when you are ready to exit the site.
